Senior Product Specialist within Splunk

Our client is currently focused on optimizing and improving our infrastructure and application operations to ensure stable and efficient service. We have a large global presence with over 25000 servers in data centers located in Sweden, US, Singapore, China, as well as a significant presence in Cloud services such as GCP, Alibaba, and Azure.

To ensure continuous service availability, we invest heavily in Operational Observability through standardized Data Collection, Data Insight, and Analytics.

To support the ongoing improvement of our Event Management and Observability implementation, we are looking to expand our team with an experienced engineer. The consultant will work alongside a team of engineers to design and operations of our Event Management solution, which is built on Splunk IT Service Intelligence (ITSI) and integrated with ServiceNOW for incident registration.

The consultant's responsibilities will include improving integrations with ServiceNOW, ensuring quality in the Event Management process, maintaining stability of the service, and facilitating knowledge sharing through presentations.

Work location : Remote work is acceptable, with a requirement to work CET hours.

ITIL - Event Management & Incident Management process
Splunk IT Service Intelligence for Event Management
Splunk ITSI Correlation rule design
ServiceNOW API and CMDB
Grafana Stack
Linux
Scripting and development skills
Excellent proficiency in English
Experience working in large global and multicultural organizations.
