“Talents” refers specifically to those independent contractors registered on our Platform who offer specialized skills or expertise. These individuals or legal entities are engaged in providing their specialized services to clients through the Platform under the terms and conditions set forth by the Platform and their individual contractual agreements.
“Clients” refers to legal entities registered on our Platform who engage the services of Talents'. These clients use services or skills offered through the Platform in compliance with the Platform's terms and conditions and any applicable contractual terms.
“Users” refers to both Talents or Clients who are subject to services provided by Us through the Platform as defined in the Platform's terms and conditions.

Use of Personal Data

We use your personal data:

To provide and improve services (usability and effectiveness), measure interest and engagement in our services, address your inquiries, process your registration, verify the information you provide is valid, and for compliance and internal business purposes. In addition, your personal information is collected to be used in business communication and cooperation with Talents or Clients.
To tailor the content we display to you and offers we may present to you, both on the service and elsewhere online.
To administer and develop our business relationship with you and, if applicable, the corporation or other legal entity you represent.
To enforce and comply with the law, including to conduct an investigation, to protect the property and rights of Youpalgroup or a third party, to protect the safety of the public or any person, or to prevent or stop activity we may consider to be or to pose a risk of being illegal, fraudulent, unethical or legally actionable activity. In certain cases, we have a legal obligation to collect and process your personal information for this purpose.
To recommend features, products, and services that might be of interest to you, identify your preferences, and personalize your experience with our platform.

Your data will be managed with utmost confidentiality and will not be shared with any external third parties, ensuring your privacy and data security. However, it's important to note that certain aspects of your data will be made publicly available to Clients registered on our Platform. This sharing of data is specifically designed to facilitate the interaction and transaction processes between you and the Clients, enhancing the effectiveness and efficiency of our Platform's services.

The data will be stored for as long as necessary to achieve the above-mentioned purpose or as long as it is necessary within the framework of legal retention periods.

The data will be stored for as long as is necessary to achieve the above purpose or as long as is required by statutory retention periods. The legality of the processing that took place between your consent and your revocation remains unaffected.

Necessity of provision

There is no obligation for you to provide this data. However, failure to provide your data would mean that you will not be able to take of Youpalgroup services.

PROVISIONS FOR CLIENTS

Legal basis

The legal basis for this is either the initiation of a contract in accordance with art. 6 para. 1 lit b GDPR or our legitimate interest in accordance with art. 6 para. 1 lit a of GDPR to store data as evidence for the assertion and defence of legal claims.

First and last name of Client’s representative
Position of Client’s representative
E-mail address of Client’s representative
Other information to be needed for cooperating with Talents through the Platform

Storage duration

After your rejection to continue cooperation or termination of such cooperation with us, the personal data you have transmitted will be stored for 1 year and then deleted.

Revocation

You can revoke your consent to the keeping of your personal data at any time. To do this, you can send us a message via oleh.ch@youpal.se.

The legality of the processing that took place between your consent and your revocation remains unaffected.

Necessity of provision

There is no obligation for you to provide personal data. However, failure to provide your data would mean that we cannot consider your application in the authorization and identification process, as otherwise we would not be able to assess whether you are suitable for the cooperation.
