Our client in the industrial technology sector is seeking a consultant with specific expertise in energy markets. This is an ongoing optimization project, and assistance is required at the domain knowledge<>technology capacity. Customer is developing a model to optimize energy consumption accordinly to forecasted energy prices.

To succeed in this role, you have:

Relevant expertise in- and understanding of Energy Markets
- i.e., Energy market price mechanisms, Optimization solutions, Energy<>Price management systems
Technical expertise in the Azure stack. (Designing, deploying, and managing scalable applications)

Beneficial, but not required expertise:

Understanding of high-frequency trading and demand-response strategies in the energy sector
Integrating external market data sources with Azure-based data solutions to enhance forecasting and optimization algorithms
Python, C#, or JavaScript for developing algorithms and integrating various Azure services
Azure IoT Hub
