Overview:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Project Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in project management methodologies, strong organizational skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes. You will play a key role in driving projects to success by effectively managing scope, budget, timelines, and stakeholder communication.
Responsibilities:
Utilize the Project Management Framework to create and maintain detailed project plans, including key activities and milestones.
Collaborate with Programme Managers to define scope, quality, cost, and effort requirements.
Monitor progress against plans, proactively removing roadblocks, escalating issues with possible solutions, and maintaining a calm, solution-focused approach.
Track financial performance metrics and ensure budget controls are in place to manage expenses.
Develop and execute communication and reporting strategies, ensuring stakeholders are informed and aligned on progress and decisions.
Proactively manage risks and issues, involving key project team members where necessary.
Support the creation and monitoring of programme/project plans, assigning roles and responsibilities.
Ensure adherence to quality assurance processes and Global Transformation Frameworks, utilizing standard tools.
Analyze and prepare management reports, identifying and addressing factors affecting project performance.
Deliver high-quality outputs that are well-structured, insightful, and error-free.
Requirements:
Strong understanding of the project lifecycle and methodologies (Waterfall and Agile).
Proven experience in project management, delivering on time and within budget.
Excellent communication, planning, and decision-making skills.
Ability to manage risks and issues effectively, ensuring smooth project progression.
Analytical skills to prepare, interpret, and present management reports.
Banking or financial services experience (nice to have).
PMP training or certification (nice to have).
