Levsha Localization Studio (www.levsha.eu) is currently seeking a LQA Tester for the English-Swedish language pair.

This is a worldwide hiring opportunity for part-time work.

Responsibilities:

The primary responsibilities of the LQA Tester include:
- Verifying the quality of translated texts for errors, inconsistencies, inaccuracies, and terminology mistakes
- Analyzing the linguistic quality of translations, including style, grammar, punctuation, and spelling

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
- Intermediate to fluent level of English proficiency for localization
- Native-level proficiency in Swedish
- Strong attention to detail and inquisitiveness for accurate results
- Cultural sensitivity and awareness
- Extensive experience in PC, console, and mobile gaming
- Any previous experience in localization or translation (amateur, student, or fan projects)

Nice to have:

In addition to the above, it would be beneficial for the candidate to have:
- Familiarity with localization CAT tools and bug trackers
- Experience in translation, editing, or localization testing on published projects
- Ability to address and resolve common localization issues
- Knowledge of industry best practices
