JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are seeking a highly skilled individual to join our team in the Pharmaceutical industry as part of the Client’s Scientific Intelligence department. As a member of this department, you will play a key role in providing a centralised hub of external information and modern digital solutions for researchers and users throughout the Client's global network.

Our goal is to ensure that our researchers have seamless access to high-quality information sources, cutting-edge technologies, and professional information research services that meet their needs. The Scientific Intelligence department is an important component of our new Digital Research & Intelligence (DRI) area, which aims to drive external collaborations, facilitate idea maturation, and foster our digital journey by providing access to emerging technologies in drug discovery.

Digital & Research Intelligence is a part of Digital Science & Innovation (DSI), a newly established department focused on driving digitalization across R&ED (Research & Early Development). As a part of DSI, you will be involved in drug development projects from early discovery to pre-clinical development.

REQUIREMENTS:

To be considered for this position, you should have experience in creating and managing ELT/ETL pipelines on cloud infrastructure. In addition, experience in data operations, programming languages such as Python and SQL, and working with containers and orchestration tools (specifically Docker and Kubernetes) for deployments is required. Experience with CI/CD automation and working in AWS (or Azure) is also required. Knowledge of security practices and usage monitoring, such as for ec2 instances and code vulnerabilities, is important for this role.
