Project Description: Our client's platform is an innovative educational tool for secondary schools that supports teachers and students in achieving the best educational outcomes. The platform offers high-quality educational materials and time-saving solutions in planning, preparing, coaching, and assessing.
Responsibilities:
As an Automation QA Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts to validate the functionality, performance, and security of our client's applications.
Your tasks will include:
Developing and maintaining automated test scripts using TypeScript, Playwright, and Cucumber.
Automating API (Backend) and UI (Frontend) tests to validate end-to-end functionality.
Implementing and managing test workflows using Bitbucket and integrating tests with CI/CD pipelines.
Working closely with the development team, Product Owner, Business Analyst, and other QA team members to ensure high-quality software delivery.
Analyzing test results, identifying defects, and generating detailed reports.
Maintaining and improving automation frameworks to increase test coverage and efficiency.
Keeping up to date with industry best practices in test automation and continuously improving testing strategies.
Must-have Requirements:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in automation testing with TypeScript, Playwright, and Cucumber.
Strong understanding of Bitbucket and hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines.
Proficiency in API (backend) test automation and UI (frontend) test automation.
Experience with version control systems such as Git.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
Nice-to-have Requirements:
Experience with cloud environments, AWS is a plus.
Knowledge of performance and security testing would be an advantage.
