Project Overview:
Our client is building a Complex Vehicle Routing Problem (CVRP) product, an advanced route planning tool that extends their previous, simpler version based on the Travelling Salesman Problem (TSP). The new solution will feature increased solution variations, leading to high computational complexity and requiring efficient algorithmic design.

A few examples of additional variables include:

Multiple vehicles
Variety of Customer requirements

Language, Team & Location:

Expert team size: 3+ members
English required, Finnish preferred
Locations: Southern Finland
Remote work possible, Hybrid preferred

Required Skills:

Experience working with real-world logistics and/or supply chain optimization
- Understanding of machine learning applications in vehicle routing problems
- Strong background in optimization, algorithm development, mathematical modeling
Familiarity with Brp algoriths

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with high-performance computing, parallel processing, or cloud-based scaling

Project Phases & Allocation:

Initial intensive phase: Full-time allocation (~100%) for several weeks
Follow-up phase: Reduced workload while first pilots are presented to clients
