What You Will Do:
The New Consumer Health Company is seeking a Procurement Digital Transformation
Programme to join our team on a remote and temporary basis. This role will be part of the Procurement Digital Transformation Programme team within the procurement function, managing key projects and ensuring alignment with organisational goals. We are looking for professionals with background in project management, procurement, and data technology, with experience in intake processes, demand management, and portfolio oversight.
This role will require hands-on mobilisation and management of key projects within the
Digital Transformation Programme, supporting Programme Leads and overall
PMO/Transformation Lead. We are looking for professionals with a background in project management, ideally in the context of procurement, and data technology, with essential experience in intake processes, demand management, and portfolio oversight. This is a very hands on role requiring individuals who take personal accountability for project deliverables, foster deep stakeholder collaboration to deliver the project outcomes and deliverables, proactively identify and mitigate risks/issues, navigate complexity and ambiguity as well as take personal ownership for completion of deliverables where necessary.
The Project Manager will manage project intake, scoping, planning, prioritization, and execution within the procurement function to deliver the desired project outcomes/deliverables. This role requires skills in establishing projects from scratch, defining requirements, priortising and planning deliverables, change control, capacity planning, and working cross-functionally to execute projects. Familiarity with procurement processes, data technology principles is beneficial to driving successful project outcomes
Key Responsibilities
• Project Intake, scoping & Prioritisation: Support project intake and assessment, aligning projects with business goals and available resources.
• Project Mobilisation: establishing project artefacts, project teams
• Demand & Capacity Planning: Oversee demand management and capacity planning to ensure resource allocation meets project requirements.
• Change Control & Compliance: Apply change control processes to maintain project stability and ensure compliance with organisational standards.
• Portfolio Management: Manage a portfolio of procurement projects, tracking progress, and making adjustments to achieve optimal results.
• Stakeholder Coordination: Work closely with stakeholders in procurement, IT, and finance to ensure alignment with digital initiatives.
• Project Coordination: Coordinate across project teams to ensure timely and budget-compliant project delivery, supporting risk mitigation and issue resolution.
• Team Development: Provide guidance and support to team members, promoting a collaborative and efficient work environment.
• Process Improvement: Identify and implement improvements in PMO processes, leveraging best practices in project management and data governance.
Qualifications
What We Are Looking For: Required Experiences
• Strong experience in project management ideally within procurement or supply chain functions, focusing on data and technology projects.
• Knowledge of portfolio management and resource planning.
• Experience in change control and process optimisation.
• Ability to manage cross-functional projects and coordinate across business units.
• Familiarity with procurement technology (e.g., ERP systems like SAP) and data management beneficial.
Required Qualifications
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in project management.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or Supply Chain or related field
• Certification(s) in Project Management essential
• Proficiency in project management tools and software for planning and reporting.
• Strong communication skills for stakeholder engagement and collaboration.
• Fluency in English, with excellent written and spoken communication skills.
