We are looking for a strong Software Engineer for a fully remote position
About:
We are expanding our team working with the programming language Rell, including its compiler, runtime, tools, and IDE integration. We’re seeking a skilled Software Engineer with a passion for tackling complex programming challenges and a commitment to writing clean, reliable code, prioritizing quality over quick fixes.
You will work in an open-source project with a small team.
Your responsibilities:
Develop new language features, as well as improve existing features
Maintain and develop internal components, tools and API
Code review, bug fixing
Qualifications:
Strong foundation in computer science and algorithms, object-oriented design
5+ years of Software development experience
Java and SQL
Friendly and collaborative
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience developing programming languages (compilers, interpreters, IDE components)
Experience with ORM (object-relational mapping) frameworks
Kotlin
Linux
Would be a plus:
Experience with other programming languages
Experience with tooling development
Familiarity with system-level software development
