PROJECT:

We are searching for a skilled Senior Python Developer to join the team at a semiconductor manufacturing company.

The team is responsible for creating and managing product specification data in a product specification database, as well as recording and storing data for individual parts used in production in a product database. This includes product measurement data, process data, and machine sensor data.

The goal of this assignment is to design new Python packages that will support and qualify (through test automation) this specialized algorithm. In addition, the assignment involves maintaining and further developing existing packages. The packages should be accessible to potential users within the company with the help of documentation and support. The development of these packages should be done outside of the core development team as part of inner-source development. Upon completion, the resulting software should be able to be further developed and operated by the client.

Responsibilities:

Designing and developing new Python packages to support and qualify specialist algorithms used in an automation environment using Docker.

Maintaining and enhancing existing Python packages for web service communication and test automation of specialist algorithms.

Providing documentation and support to potential users within the company for utilizing the Python packages.
