emagine is seeking a skilled BI Planning Systems Analyst (Cognos)/TM1 Consultant to join our team of freelance IT consultants. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IBM Planning Analytics powered by TM1, along with excellent technical and systems skills. Your ability to effectively gather requirements, engage in process mapping, and understand the impacts on existing systems will be crucial for excelling in this role.
Main Responsibilities
Your core responsibility will be to support the running of the IBM Planning Analytics system, ensuring optimal performance and usability.

• Support and maintain IBM Planning Analytics powered by TM1.
• Engage in requirements gathering and process mapping.
• Assess impact on existing systems and processes accurately.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to derive insights.
• Implement best practices for data governance and system integrity.
• Utilize Microsoft SQL for data management and reporting.
• Develop visualization tools to enhance data presentation.
• Adapt to fast-paced working environments, particularly in retail or FMCG sectors.

Key Requirements

• Proven experience with IBM Planning Analytics (TM1).
• Strong technical and systems skills.
• Ability to gather requirements effectively.
• Experience in process mapping and project discovery.
• Proficiency in Microsoft SQL.
• Experience with visualization tools.

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of BI tools beyond IBM Planning Analytics.
• Background in fast-paced environments, preferably retail or FMCG.
