Software/ GCP Engineer, 3 months remote

Background

The Areas of Mobility and Total Rewards Framework, under the People Domain, has multiple system solutions that have a high business demand throughout the year.

We are looking for a GCP/Software Engineer who can develop solutions using GCP and other technologies.

The consultant will be responsible for:

• Designing, developing, and delivering high-quality software and engineering solutions to improve the efficiency and reach of our clients' systems for a larger audience.

• Promoting the use of modern software engineering principles and tools, and automating processes to meet business objectives and establish a strong digital foundation for our digital products and services.

Desired knowledge, experience, skills, etc.

• Strong understanding of software engineering principles
• Extensive knowledge of industry-standard software engineering practices
• Good understanding of design and architecture concepts, such as microservices
• In-depth knowledge of relevant technologies and related products or services
• Experience working in agile/iterative software development teams and using agile development practices
• Passion for delivering high-quality software
• Motivated to continuously develop and enhance programming skills and stay up-to-date with new tools and technologies
• Excited to work both independently and collaboratively in cross-functional teams
• Enthusiastic about using agile methodologies and being open to change

Most important:
Minimum of 5 years of experience with Core Java
Experience with framework and solution implementation using Springboot
Familiarity with creating microservices on spring boot that can be hosted on GCP.
