Medior Data Engineer w/Azure, Remote extendable contract

Our client is looking for a medior Data Engineer to build E2E data pipelines using Azure Data factory and Azure Databricks.

Tasks:

Design and develop data pipelines: Using ADF to orchestrate the flow of data from various sources to destinations.

Implement data transformations: Using Azure Databricks to process and transform data as needed.

Ensure data quality and reliability: By monitoring and troubleshooting the pipelines.

Collaborate with stakeholders: To understand data requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs.

Must-haves:

• Databricks (expert-level)
• Unity Catalog
• Spark
• SQL (expert-level)
• Python (expert-level)
• Azure data stack (Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks)
• Dataops (DEVOPS/CICD FOR DATA)
• Experience with SAP data extraction is an advantage
• Previous experience with datamesh concept
• Power BI Visualizations/Datamodelling is an advantage
• Most of the technical skills are must have's, Power BI skills are nice to have.

Soft Skills/Competence:

1. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English with data storytelling are prerequisites for this role
2. Strong analytical and creative mindset with empathy to grasp user needs and solve problems
3. Crossfunctional collaboration, working in Matrix organization, background of project or product management
4. Good interpersonal skills and ability to work cross-capability with a mix of internal and external consultants.

Fluency in English is must/Danish - optional
