SAP Project Manager

Assignment Description

We are looking for a Project Manager within SAP. As a Project Manager you will be leading the project team, and delegating tasks & authorities into the team. You will have decision-making authority within the scope of the project as well as escalation to program management.

A part of this assignment is successful delivery of the project, delivery of the project to scope, in time, in budget with minimum risk. As a Project Manager you are responsible for alignment of the project with the program vision, mission & strategy. Compliance with HQV standards & regulations for project management, transparency of the project (incl. status, risks and changes) toward the program management as well as Risk Assessment in the Project are also included in this assignment.

Tasks:

• Establishing the project organization & assigning key roles for the project.
• Providing direction, leadership and decision-making for the project.
• Defining, planning and executing project activities & setting priorities.
• Monitoring, controlling & reporting the project progress & performance.
• Closing the project & managing lessons learned.
• Facilitating effective collaboration between the project & the program.
• Managing supplier relationships.
• Allocating resources effectively across the various projects within the program.

Qualifications:

• You should have comprehensive knowledge of project management methods, tools, and techniques, Waterfall & Agile with a Hybrid approach.
• You should have a strong background in SAP with previous experience of driving/leading SAP-projects.
• You should have in depth know-how of best practice project management standards and their application.
• You should have strong communication skills, visibility, and outreach to all project participants.
• You should have ability to navigate the project environment with sponsors and stakeholders.
• You should have informed and timely decision-making that supports the overall project objectives.
• You should have commitment to organizational integrity and best practices.
