Information Security Consultant - Remote

For our client Lunds Municipality, we are looking for an Information Security Consultant .

Background to the need
The municipality's current information security coordinator will finish their position before a replacement has been hired. This means that Lunds Municipality has a need for support in matters related to information security during a transitional period.

What kind of role are you looking for?
Lunds Municipality is looking for a driven and experienced information security consultant who can strengthen the municipality's security work and ensure compliance with laws and industry standards. With a solid competence in IT and information security, and a strong ability to lead and implement changes, you will have a central role in protecting the municipality's information and systems.

Required expertise

• Documented experience in implementing and managing management systems according to ISO 27001.
• Experience in ensuring that businesses comply with requirements according to NIS and other security standards.
• Deep understanding and experience in risk management, including performing information classification of business systems and developing detailed action plans to reduce and manage identified risks.
• Previous work within a municipal organization.
• Previous experience working as an information security manager, CISO or similar role with responsibility for high-level information security.
• Experience in conducting security assessments of vendors and providing strategic recommendations for protecting information flows.
• Ability to develop and implement training packages for business and IT teams on information security.
• Documented expertise in security architecture to ensure robust protection and compliance with security standards.

Preferred expertise

• Experience in leading and implementing change initiatives in information security and improving the security culture within an organization.
