Description:We are now looking for a sub -consultant who can take on the role of DBA (system technician database).
The Customs Administration's IT department has in the Delivery area IT operations and infrastructure's need for a consultant with knowledge within Ingres and Oracle.
The Customs Administration today has a mixed database environment where old proprietary systems mainly use Ingres as a database manager.Extensive development work is underway to replace old customs systems with modern systems, but to ensure the operation and maintenance of old proprietary systems, there is a great need for Ingre's competence.
The assignment consists of strengthening the team with Ingre's competence in troubleshooting in existing systems and in migration to new systems.Work can occur outside regular working hours.
The team includes three people with expertise in Oracle and Ingres.
The work also involves participating as technical expert support in various development projects.
The consultant will need to be security classified within the framework of the assignment and the assignment cannot be started before security rating is completed.
