Background We are looking to strengthen our people/HR analytics team working with use cases from performing analysis, enabling reporting, developing insights dashboards to creating statistics and machine learning models. This includes sourcing data from a variety of our client's systems and databases, transforming, structuring, managing and presenting/consuming it in front-end solutions, models or analyses. We work with our data on Google Cloud Platform, primarily in BigQuery, using SQL and python to work with data and Microsoft PowerBI for front-ends.
We are looking for a strong Data Analyst for the following responsibilities: - Perform data analysis and data profiling - Develop data processing/transformation pipelines using SQL - Develop data visualisation and self-service analysis applications/dashboards using Power BI - Work closely with Data Engineers and other team members in formulating requirements and developing data models, structures and pipelines that support business needs. - Integrate into a cross-functional agile team with Product Owner, Data Scientists/Analysts/Stewards and Data/ML/Software/DevOps Engineers. - Work closely with the Product Owner and business stakeholders to ensure business value realisation - Facilitating, planning and managing workshops and activities to define business needs for analytics Requirements: - Ability to profile, quality check, clean, transform, and analyse data to derive relevant and accurate insights using statistics - Strong experience with data visualisation tools such as PowerBI, QlikSense, Tableau, etc - Strong experience in SQL, preferably with cloud based data warehousing services like Google BigQuery, Snowflake or AWS Redshift - Experience in People/HR data and analytics - Preferably experience with Python or other programming languages to perform data processing and analysis - Working independently and sense checking own work by combining Business and Analytics knowledge. - Team-oriented, experience with working with cross functional teams and Agile - Goal-oriented, experience with delivering assignments and keeping focus, working proactively and suggesting new ideas to improve - Knowledge in project management and change management What 3 things above are most important? - Data analysis & statistics - Dashboard/Data visualisation development in PowerBI - SQL
