Senior Analytics Engineer

For our client, one of the IT Consultancy company specializes in Data Engineering and Analytics we realize a recruitment process on Analytics Engineer.

Main Responsibilities:

• Collecting business requirements for data solutions (reports, analysis)
• Advising on metrics for business performance monitoring
• Monitoring, building data pipelines, and implementing data transformations (mostly in SQL)
• Designing and implementing data model in a BI tool
• Building reports and dashboards
• Data validation and testing
• Communicating results to the business and helping to use them to make decisions
• Data literacy knowledge sharing
• Staying up to date with the latest trends and best practices in analytics engineering

An ideal candidate profile:

• Higher education level within IT or similar are preferred
• Over 5 years of experience as Engineer in similar role having hands-on experience with Looker
• Familiar with Python and proficiency in SQL + DBMS (e.g. BigQuery, Hive, Oracle)
• Hands-on experience with mapping business requirements to data analytics (reports, analysis)
• Experience with designing and implementing data models based on BI tool – reports, dashboards, data validation and testing
• Interact with the business stakeholders to communicate project results and helping them to make the decisions
