DevOps Engineer

Assignment description

On behalf of the customer, we are now looking for a Devops Engineer with solid experience with Remote Desktop and practical technical expertise.You will have the opportunity to work either from Oslo, Ålesund or Gothenburg (Oslo or Gothenburg is preferred).The service offers a hybrid solution with about two days a week in their office.

Main responsibilities:

• Design and implement scalable infrastructure solutions in Azure to support both operational and development -related needs.
• Using monitoring tools to identify and solve performance problems, and ensure high availability, optimal performance and cost -effectiveness for applications and infrastructure.
• Automate repetitive tasks and processes using scripts and orchestration tools to improve efficiency and reduce the risk of human errors.
• Implement and maintain security policies and routines as well as conduct regular system reviews to ensure compliance with the latest security standards and industry practice.
• Be a key person in incident management, provide technical support and expertise to quickly and effectively solve operational challenges.
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement and efficiency by sharing knowledge and guiding team members in Devop's best practice and tools.

Qualifications:

• Higher education in relevant IT areas or equivalent work experience in the operation and maintenance of infrastructure and platforms in Azure.
• Great interest in ensuring safe and stable operation.
• A natural commitment to continuous professional development and learning.
