Platform Engineer - REMOTE

Overview:

We are looking for an experiencedPlatform Engineerfor our client. This role focuses on building scalable systems, cloud infrastructure, and automation, requiring a strong engineering mindset and expertise in Cloud & DevOps practices.

Requirements:

• 5+ yearsof experience as aPlatform Engineer,Software Engineer, or a similar role specializing inscalable systems, automation, and cloud infrastructure.
• Extensive experience withcloud platforms(preferablyGCP, butAzureandAWSare also considered).
• Strong understanding ofsoftware engineering best practices, includingcode structure, design patterns, and testing methodologies.
• Expert-level Python skills– capable of refactoring and optimizing existing code.
• Advanced knowledge of at least onetype-safe programming language(bonus points forGoorRust).
• Exceptionalcommunication skills in English, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and simplify complex topics for non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong advocate oftest-driven developmentwith a passion for writing well-tested code.
• Hands-on experience withDevOpspractices,CI/CD pipelines, andinfrastructure automationusing tools likeGitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Terraform, and Docker.

Nice to Have:

• Solid understanding ofsecurity best practicesincloud and ML environments.
• Proficiency incontainerization (Docker)andorchestration (Kubernetes)for scalingML workflows.
• Experience withdeep learning, graph neural networks (GNNs), large language models (LLMs), knowledge graphs, and retrieval-augmented generation (RAGs).
• Proven expertise inbuilding and maintaining platformsformachine learning applications.
• Experience withML orchestration toolssuch asMLflow, Kubeflow, or Apache Airflow.
• Familiarity withmodel versioning, A/B testing, and model monitoring strategies.
