Stationing location: Remote within Sweden

Scope: Full -time during the development phase, part -time during the production phase.

DESCRIPTION:

The assignment is conducted in two phases, a development phase and a production phase.Development of the application will take place starting as soon as possible until May 2025 where May will be reserved for user testing and completion of the application.Production setting will be done at the end of May.All the time as the research project, Star-C, is ongoing, operating support and support will be delivered and this is expected to continue until April 2026, but there should be the possibility of extension if needed.

Development of a digital health coach that will be included in the Star-C research project with the aim of promoting healthy living habits.

The digital health coach will, through a mobile application on both Android and the iPhone platforms, support the participants in changing their living habits as well as actively feedback changes via the app.The participant has the opportunity to interact with the digital coach based on the participant's planned activities (with a focus on physical activity and eating habits).

A backend solution should also develop that controls logic to the app and collects data from the participants.The solution as a whole must be developed so that it can be run on Prem preferably within Sweden, and at least within the EU/EEA so that it is ensured that there is no 3rd country transfer and that data is handled in accordance with current regulatory requirements.

For the assignment, we are looking for senior system development consultants who have experience in developing generative AI/RAG solutions as well as commissioning and managing daily operation of the environment required to manage a solution on prem.

The assignment requires good ability to independently drive and structure the work together with the researchers behind the project.Contact with these researchers should be dense and regular, which places a requirement for good cooperative ability.Good ability to communicate both in speech and writing in both Swedish and English will therefore be a weighty reason.

Consequently, since the application is to handle data with very high protective value, very high requirements are placed on secure data.The tender must therefore be attached to a detailed description of how data management will comply with the regulations in the Data Protection Regulation.The contractor shall also sign Umeå University's personal data access agreement.

Ska-requirements:

1. Depth competence and experience in developing rag applications.
2. Deep competence and experience in developing and integrating metahumans into Unreal 5.
3. Deep skills and experience to develop backend solutions.
4. Deep competence in developing frontal applications on iOS and Android.
5. Deep expertise in IBM Watsonx.
6. Experience in developing applications that handle patient data.
7. Deep competence in operating and patching AI/GPU cluster in an on prem configuration.
8. Hourly price and estimated number of hours at work.
9. Description of how data management will comply with the regulations in the Data Protection Regulation.
